My four year old and I got creative this week to make some Mother's Day gifts for Grandma, Nana and Godmums. Using old jugs, baskets and glasses that I had lying around the house, we simply planted a hyacinth in each - et voila!
These would make great thrifty centrepieces for a Spring wedding. The hyacinths cost just £1 for a tub of three so £10 would get you thirty and a cluster of three mismatched items would look very effective.

Last June, Gabs and Matt held their wedding reception in the Tiled Hall at Leeds Art Gallery. As a friend of the lovely couple, I had the pleasure of helping style the wedding and coordinating the decor on the day. And if I do say so myself it looked blummin fabulous - quirky and fun! Just like the couple themselves.
As Gabs is a photographer herself (a very very good one), and her and Matt are very into music, the theme naturally evolved as a quirky, retro inspired music affair. I am not going to say anymore about the day as it has recently been featured over on Love My Dress with Annabel and Gab's photographer Lisa Jane capturing the day perfectly.

The vintage cameras I sourced have been quick to be picked up by other brides however, I have just listed a couple of the leftover props and decor. From the typewriter artwork, retro calender, to leftover records and LPs which made the perfect plates for the cakes.

I love our latest wedding listed for sale, which I would describe as glamorous rustic. Elaine's wedding took place in September and she is reluctantly selling on her wedding decor, accessories and table props so that they can be used by another bride. If you are interested I would drop her a line quickly as I don't imagine these pretties will hang around long...

Here I am on location in July at Saltmarshe Hall in East Yorkshire taking shots for the website rebrand. My son George was just 10 weeks old.
