From bridal designer Stella York, this gorgeous gown is for the bride who wants to have a timeless style on her wedding day. Made of matte Mikado fabric, the ballgown silhouette features a modern empire waist and open, square back. A small pleat in the skirt allows the ballgown skirt to keep its shape beautifully. Fabric covered buttons run down the length of the train and pockets have been added for one final modern touch.

Bust 98cm / 38.5in

I cannot emphasise enough how beautiful this dress is. The fabric has a slight sheen to it, and the band around the waist is so flattering. It has gorgeous fabric buttons all the way down the train, but it's actually zip up. The skirt has petticoats but I still managed to go to the loo by myself. And don't forget the pockets! Perfect for stashing tissues or your speech if you plan on doing one. I know all brides are told they're beautiful but I felt like an absolute princess and was just showered in compliments all day.
I bought this dress in a size 14 but then lost a dress size over the year, so when I had it tailored she took quite a lot of fabric in. I'm a size 12 top and 14 bottom so if you're about that then this will probably fit you, but of course you will want to get it tailored too.
Still in its protective plastic bag with padded hanger.
