The UK's dedicated online marketplace for used or pre–loved wedding items
specialises in used or pre-loved wedding items; everything to do with your big day, from the dress to dressing the reception. It's a fabulous marketplace of wedding delights where you can buy and sell items from your wedding, as well as browse wedding vendors.
Key words to describe our wedding? I guess vintage with a bit of rustic elegance!
Our wedding story was best put into words when it was featured on the RocknRoll Bride website.
Please have a look here for more details and lots of photos!: http://www.rocknrollbride.com/2012/07/a-great-gatsby-peacock-themed-wedding-at-nonsuch-mansion-chloe-michael/
Everything about our day was collected, put together and/or handmade by us. So pretty much everything you see in the pictures we have available to sell. Happy to sell altogether as complete sets or the individual bits.
Happy browsing and please let me know if you have any questions!
Hi, I got married on a very beautiful summers day in August in Burford in the Cotswolds. We have no connection to Cotswolds, been from Yorkshire, but wanted a idyllic country side location that would fit into my love for anything floral, lace, whimsical & magical.
My husband on the other hand asked for skulls & wood to be incorporated- I will leave you to guess what my answer was!! I found a old village hall & a church a minute walk away so knew straight away that venue was THE one! I loved this village hall as you just hired the hall which was a blank canvas and you (www.beaucollections.co.uk) decorated it all, employed external provider in e.g catering, furniture, DJ. My best friend is a wedding stylist for beau collections so she was my fairy god mother (minus the wings) and helped & inspired me to think outside the box with decor.
We spend endless hours in her garden shredding old chintzy bedding, curtains, lace & surprisingly old ladies nighties all purchased from my charity shop obsession to make the most beautiful lace garlands!! (I have 4 of these beauties to sell!!)
We handmade / styled everything.. My husband made big R & J letters, that stood on top of a piano & had love heart garlands as a back drop. I sourced old trestle tables & lace table runners & spent hours wrapping lace round jars & filling with wild flowers (from Paradise flowers in Wakefield).
We collected old vintage books and wrapped these with lace. I dotted vintage crockery EVERYWHERE & wrapped every beam with fairy lights... It truly looked magical. I am selling most things from my wedding and if I'm not selling beau collections is hiring it so please look at images & have the most beautiful magical day of your life.
Paul and I had a year to plan our wedding, and that year was fabulously fun! Putting so much thought and emotion into just one day, we wondered how it would unfold... Would everything come together? Would we be able to relax? Would it rain?!... But we could never anticipate the perfection and contentment we would feel on our wedding day.
We married in our home county in the picturesque Devonian village - Newton Ferrers - where I grew up. The theme was green and the sentiment was lovebirds. We married in the church where I was christened, we had location shots by the river where we spend many summers and the reception was in a country house near the river banks where Paul proposed- our idea of paradise!
Being a perfectionist I had a vision of our day and spent the lead up to the wedding grafting to make that vision reality. Details of our wedding included home-made confetti, hand-crafted table centre-pieces and a bespoke wedding cake. I pondered over every detail & design and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Our day could not have been better, celebrating with friends and family, we had the time of our lives and the sun even came out!
Angel in the North
I caught the wedding bug in 2009 and haven’t been able to shake it off, even though my wedding was done and dusted in 2010. I loved planning my wedding, and blogs were such a source of inspiration. So I established Angel in the North: a wedding and lifestyle blog for Yorkshire: featuring real weddings, fashion, styling, ideas and inspiration.
I make these lovely framed boards for use as wedding table plans. The inner board is covered in fabric or paper, criss-crossed with ribbon; the frame is usually white and decorated wtih silk flowers. But everything can be made to match your theme - whether you want the fabric to match your bridesmaids' dresses or for the flowers to match those you've chosen for your bouquet. If you have a particular colour or theme in mind, please get in touch to talk bespoke orders. The cost of a bespoke table plan depends on the size and your choice of materials but, as a guide, prices start from a mere £25.
