I adored wearing this dress.

After much anguish, multiple bridal shops and lots of dress-stress, I finally found this gorgeous number from Mikaella Bridal.

It's a true blend of class and contemporary. Wearing it made me feel sexy and sophisticated.

The crepe material is figure-hugging, yet forgiving, whilst the lace band beneath the bust adds a bit of pizzazz and uniqueness. The flattering V-neck and cap sleeves work well for any shorter brides out there (like me!) and the open back is very dramatic - particularly when you walk down the aisle and all your guests are looking at your back!

I'm normally a UK size 10, and although this dress is labelled as a 12, it is very accommodating. It would suit a smaller or bigger waist by a few inches either way.

In short, I'm super sad I can't wear it again, but I'm really hoping another bride will get to enjoy their wonderful wedding in it!

Alterations:
My seamstress stitched a triangle of lace on to the V-neck front and a few centimetres were taken up on the length.
